Nevis in past decades, juxtaposed with photos taken 'today' from exactly the
same spot, to show how even over a relatively short period of time the
environment of Nevis has changed, sometimes quite radically.
As always we welcome any photos our members may have
in their personal collections that are appropriate for this section. Full

Right: Is a fairly high
resolution arial photo of Charlestown and surrounds taken by the US Air
Force in 1946. It is a large file 6.9 mb, so you will have to
download it to see it clearly. You can see Fort Charles,
Charlestown (opposite the pier) and Pinney's Beach...notice how long and
wide the beach is?
