Dr. Michael Reid's Birds of Nevis Photos April 26th, 2010
Dr. Reid was born in Trinidad and has been
returning to the Caribbean since the 1960's.
He says "I fell in love with hummingbirds as a
child and never lost my fascination for them. I'm now retired from my
job as a doctor in England and have been visiting Nevis every year or
two since 2001. I love birds and photographing them, whether in England,
Trinidad or Nevis. I was alerted to the existence of the NHCS
Biodiversity Project by Judy Foster-Smith (who also comes from my part
of England), and when I saw that you were doing your best to build up a
gallery of photos of Nevis wildlife I thought you might like my
pictures"
